Spray Foam Insulation
Open-cell and closed-cell polyurethane foam that air-seals and insulates in one application.

Guessing is expensive. A blower door test and thermal scan tell you exactly where the money is leaving the building.
A homeowner with a $480 summer electric bill has a dozen theories about why. An audit replaces theories with measurements. Blower door for total envelope leakage, duct blaster for duct leakage, infrared thermal imaging to see missing and compressed insulation through the drywall, and direct measurement of existing insulation depth and condition.
We depressurize the house to 50 pascals and measure the airflow required to hold it there. That number — CFM50 — quantifies total leakage. Then, while the house is under pressure, we walk it with a thermal camera or a smoke pencil and physically find the leaks: top plates, recessed lights, plumbing chases, the attic hatch, band joists, and the always-underestimated gap around the ductwork boots.
Ducts in a 135-degree attic leaking 20 percent of their airflow is common in older Florida homes, and it's a double loss: you're paying to cool air that never reaches a room, and the resulting pressure imbalance pulls hot humid attic air into the house to replace it. Measuring it tells you whether sealing the ducts should come before anything else.
The deliverable is a written report with photos, thermal images, measured numbers, and a ranked list of improvements with estimated costs and estimated savings. If the highest-value item on your list is something we don't sell, the report will still say so.

Energy Audits & Blower Door Testing pricing varies with square footage, access, existing conditions, and whether removal is required first. Most Florida projects fall in the $1.50–$5.00 per square foot installed range. Standard Insulation provides free written, itemized estimates statewide — call (561) 975-6204.
N/A — diagnostic service. In Florida's Climate Zone 1 attic assemblies must reach R-30, and in Climate Zone 2 R-38, with R-49 a common practical target, and we'll size the assembly to hit your code requirement or your performance goal.
