Spray Foam Insulation
Open-cell and closed-cell polyurethane foam that air-seals and insulates in one application.

Sound insulation is a comfort upgrade people notice every single day — especially in condos, townhomes, and homes near I-95 or a flight path.
Four principles: mass, decoupling, damping, and absorption. Insulation is the absorption piece — it kills the resonance inside the wall cavity that would otherwise let the two wall faces act as a drum. Insulation alone in a standard wall might buy you 4 to 6 STC points. Insulation plus resilient channel plus double drywall with damping compound can take a wall from STC 33 to STC 60.
We're honest about this: if someone promises soundproofing from insulation alone, they're overselling.
For acoustic work, mineral wool outperforms fiberglass meaningfully — it's denser, it holds friction-fit in the cavity without sagging, and it performs better at low frequencies, which is exactly where the annoying sounds live: bass from a neighbor's TV, road noise, aircraft.
Condo and townhome demising walls. Bedrooms facing I-95, US-1, or a flight path near PBI, FLL, or MIA. Home theaters and music rooms. Medical exam rooms with HIPAA privacy requirements. Offices and conference rooms. Multifamily floor-ceiling assemblies where impact noise from above is the complaint.
The most common soundproofing failure isn't the wall — it's everything around it. Back-to-back electrical boxes, a shared HVAC duct run, an uninsulated soffit, a gap at the top plate, or a hollow-core door will undo an otherwise excellent assembly. We look at the whole path, not just the wall.
