We work off your Florida Energy Code compliance forms so the insulation you get is the insulation your permit says you get — and we show up when the schedule says we do.
Every permitted Florida building has an energy code compliance path — prescriptive or performance — with specific R-values assigned to specific assemblies. We work from your approved forms so what gets installed matches what the permit says. That sounds obvious. It is not universal.
Insulation sits between mechanical/electrical/plumbing rough-in and drywall. If we're late, drywall is late, and everything downstream slides. We commit to a date, we show up on it, and if something upstream isn't ready we tell you the day we find out rather than the morning of.
Florida code requires envelope and duct leakage testing on new residential construction. We build the envelope with the test in mind — continuous air barrier detailing, sealed penetrations, and coordination with the HVAC contractor on duct sealing — rather than hoping it passes and scrambling if it doesn't.
We handle both. Production work means repeatable details, consistent crews, and per-unit pricing that holds across a phase. Custom work means unusual assemblies, architect involvement, and often a higher-performance spec — spray foam roof decks, continuous exterior insulation, and above-code air tightness targets.

New Construction Insulation pricing varies with square footage, access, existing conditions, and whether removal is required first. Most Florida projects fall in the $1.50–$5.00 per square foot installed range. Standard Insulation provides free written, itemized estimates statewide — call (561) 975-6204.
Per approved energy calculation. In Florida's Climate Zone 1 attic assemblies must reach R-30, and in Climate Zone 2 R-38, with R-49 a common practical target, and we'll size the assembly to hit your code requirement or your performance goal.
