Spray Foam Insulation
Open-cell and closed-cell polyurethane foam that air-seals and insulates in one application.

An uninsulated metal building in Florida becomes an oven and a condensation machine. The right system solves heat and dripping condensation at the same time.
Owners buy metal building insulation for heat. They keep it for condensation control. Bare metal roof panels in Florida drop below the dew point on clear nights, and the underside literally rains onto whatever is stored below. Insulation with an integral vapor retarder keeps the panel's cold surface separated from the humid interior air.
Faced blanket over purlins — economical, standard, R-10 to R-19. Banded liner system — a fabric liner suspended below the purlins holding thicker insulation, R-19 to R-30, with a much cleaner finished look. Thermal blocks — foam blocks at the purlin line breaking the metal-to-metal conduction path, which is where a surprising amount of a metal roof's heat transfer actually happens. Closed-cell spray foam — applied directly to the panel underside, handling insulation, air sealing, and vapor in one pass, and adhering the panels for additional wind resistance.
Retrofit is harder than new construction because you're working around racking, lighting, sprinkler heads, and ongoing operations. Spray foam is often the practical choice on a retrofit because it goes on from below without needing to disturb the roof or the purlin line, and it can be sequenced section by section around the operation.
Aircraft hangars need fire-rated considerations alongside thermal. Agricultural buildings need materials that tolerate washdown and ammonia. Self-storage needs condensation control above all — dripping water on tenants' belongings is the fastest way to lose a facility's reputation. Each gets a different specification.

Metal Building Insulation pricing varies with square footage, access, existing conditions, and whether removal is required first. Most Florida projects fall in the $1.50–$5.00 per square foot installed range. Standard Insulation provides free written, itemized estimates statewide — call (561) 975-6204.
R-10 to R-30 depending on system. In Florida's Climate Zone 1 attic assemblies must reach R-30, and in Climate Zone 2 R-38, with R-49 a common practical target, and we'll size the assembly to hit your code requirement or your performance goal.
